Behavioral Health Center is a 60 licensed bed inpatient facility configured as follows:
15 child-adolescent Beds
20 Acute Beds
18 Mood Disorder beds
2 child psychiatrists who will provide a pro rata share of weekend rounding coverage approximately one weekend in 4-5 with two psychiatrists pairing together to provide coverage. This position would focus primarily on provision of outpatient services with occasional back up coverage for the inpatient child and adolescent unit.
Weekday call is very light because we have an on-site physician who handles after hours calls from our outpatient and inpatient system. Evening on-site coverage is from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. 7 days per week. There are two child-adolescent psychiatrists on staff.
