BC/BE Palliative Care Physician to expand an existing team in the Palliative Care Center.

• The Center’s focus is to provide and coordinate palliative care across the entire spectrum of patients, including oncology, cardiology, neurology and nephrology.
  – Active education about palliative care across the medical community
  – Coordination with the Hospice Program with potential for integrated coverage

• Will join a Board certified Palliative Care physician to provide care primarily in an outpatient clinic setting

• Includes inpatient consults at the Hospital where a majority of inpatients are treated by an employed hospitalist group; current Palliative Care physician serves as Director, Palliative Care Services

• Supported by a multidisciplinary team including an advanced nurse practitioner, nurse clinician, social workers, chaplains and other allied health personnel

• Call one weekend per month and alternating with current physician during the week
