Join a Hospital employed group with 12 physicians work the 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shift and 2 physicians will each have an IM resident to provide care during the 7 p.m.– 7 a.m. shift.

Details:

– Provide coverage for unassigned patients who present to ED requiring inpatient care, care for transfers and inhospital
consults
Admit and co-manage with intensivist support adult patients in critical care–no
procedures required
– 24/7 pulm/critical care support for all CC admissions
– Manage patients in clinical decision unit
– 24 hour subspecialty support available for all specialties including presence of inhouse radiology physician 24/7
– 12 hour work shifts, no call required
– Average schedule is 16 shifts per month
– Flexible, individualized scheduling
– Provide limited coverage for select private practice primary care patients
– Utilize in-house electronic medical records, PACS, and physician portal
– Participate in quality initiatives with an emphasis on evidence-based medicine
– Opportunity to precept 3rd and 4th year medical students and teach IM residents
