Heart Group is a 11 physician cardiology practice providing exclusive contracted Cardiology to the Hospital.
We are the only tertiary Cardiology program for a 14 county area known as the Upper Cumberland region. We are the sole STEMI referral center and provide the overwhelming majority of Cardiology services in this area.
3 cardiac surgeons provide high quality coronary bypass and valve surgery program. Our Cardiac Surgeons have been supportive of our TAVR program which was forged by our fellowship trained structural interventionist.
Interventional Cardiology program provides a full range of coronary and structural heart services including TAVR and PFO closure with mitral clip and appendage closure soon to follow. The coronary interventions provided include complex coronary intervention including CTO intervention.
Electrophysiology program has a dedicated EP laboratory with an active program in atrial fibrillation, SVT and Ventricular arrhythmia ablation as well as device implantation. Electrophysiology candidates should have extensive training and/or experience in atrial fibrillation ablation.
