Hem Onc to join a busy Hospital employed group with 2 Hem Onc’s on staff.

Highlights:

• Reason for opening: Growth
• Current staffing: 2 physicians – center could support 4 Hem Oncs
• Inpatient and outpatient practice
• Clinic hours are M-F, 8-4:30 and it is located inside of the hospital in the Cancer Center
• 12-18 patients / day
• Coverage shared equally at 1:4
• No APP’s in the center
• Onsite radiation therapy and infusion center with Radiation Oncologists available for consultation
• Outpatient chemotherapy administration
• Multi-disciplinary tumor board and cancer registry
• 30-40 % solid tumors and malignant hematology and 60 % benign hematology
• Refer out acute leukemias, complex sarcomas
• Precept DO med school students
• Hospital employed
• EMR: EPIC

 Benefits:

• Base salary – 650k plus RVU

  • RVU ​​​​​​​threshold 7,000 at 90 / wRVU
  • Hem Oncs produce over ~11k RVU’s each
