Pediatric Hospitalist in NY State

In the foothills of the Catskill Mountains

3.5 hour drive to NYC – 190 miles

• Work with and oversee 5 inpatient Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) who cover the birthing center and inpatient pediatric service 24/7
• Monday – Friday daytime work in the hospital assisting with rounding, admissions, attendance at C-sections as needed, ED and other consultations
• Participation in overnight and weekend call rotation as back up to the inpatient APC’s
• Level I Nursery with about 1000 births per year.
• 6 bed pediatric inpatient unit
• After hours call 1:6 weeknights/weekends for back up coverage of advanced practice clinicians (APCs) in the hospital.
• The pediatric inpatient service and Birthing Center are staffed by APCs 24/7/365 along with a daytime hospitalist.
• Medical student instruction with academic appointment to the clinical faculty of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Salary Range: $210k – $240k
• Group Employed Model
• Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000
